I have to say... it was a good year. Yet, when one team (or rather, one driver) dominates the game, things get boring.

So now I hope the other teams do their homework and next season will be a tighter competition :)

Well, that concluded the most boring F1 season I've seen so far. Oh, there were a few good races (Canada!!!!) but overall, very boring.

Now we wait to see what the FIA comes up with for 2012 to make the season interesting. Not that I'm really looking forward to 2012 due to the fact that I won't be able to see the quality programming of BBC for all the races (thanks Bernie).

Vicky Vette[/URL][/B], post: 6273289, member: 99191"]I am somewhat befuddled that Petra watches Formula 1 racing....

Learn something new every day eh? ;-)

How about this one, I'd be happy to do rally driving or get into a race car but I won't get on a mechanical bull.

:goodpost:

I may well have watched my last race. :2 cents:

That's what happens when you give a man or woman too much power. ;)

I don't think it's about power.

Rather a very fortunate combination of reliability, driving skills, very smart race strategies and a well-functioning team. A chain like that is hard to beat.

When I look at other drivers, there are reckless ones, some just have to make do with cars that break down often, some appear to have struggles with their teams.

And of course, you know the commercials, 'Red Bull gives you wings' :1orglaugh

Petra : Sure you´re RIGHT , it really gets boring if someone dominates this heavy , BUT : So the rest of the teams have to LEARN a bit to get BETTER ... OR : Sebastian will drive again in circles round the whole troup. That has nothing to do with *national pride* or shit like that, it´s an Austrian team with a French car + a German driver ,

if Button would have an excellent car like Seb has, it would be MUCH closer I´m sure cause Button is a hell of a driver ....he´s LOGIC. Hamilton is EMOTIONAL.

@Vicky : driving all the time in circles is not sooooo very interesting I think ...loool

I really, really, really, really don't want to watch the dutch version of the race. I really hate the commentator AND the gazillion and three commercials you get. Plus, one of the whole reasons I started enjoying F1 was because of the pre-program. It was entertaining (especially Eddie Jordan's gawd awful shirts), informative, great interviews, and the little things they did with the drivers or teams was fantastic. Martin Brundle will be missed big time, I loved his grid walk.

And looking at the races that BBC got coverage for....Europe and Abu Dhabi? Sigh.

I would be willing to pay a nominal fee to be able to watch live coverage from Sky to avoid the commercials on dutch TV (plus ,it's really shit quality compared to watching the race on HD with BBC) but I highly doubt they'd open it up to non-uk residents.

I had the Sky cable package some time ago... that was awesome. Back then, you even had several channels just for the race, so you could switch to check out what's happening in the boxes etc. And no commercials, of course ;)

It's all good in the hood. I swing both ways. :D

Please be advised that I like to give anal like a porn star. That means you should not eat for 48 hrs before arrival and my "Timo glock" is very large so I suggest you also insert a vibrating butt plug up your arse to "get it ready" as soon as you leave the airport.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. :drool2:
